Hi there

@The-Hive

on a trip to italy years ago I went bonkers and bought a Pavloni coffee maker (around 780 EUR !!!!!) but never regretted the purchase -- it's worked perfectly over the years and it's so far removed from that disgusting froth that passes as coffee that is dished up in Starbucks or Costa's that it's on a different universe.

Fun to make the coffee as well !!!

Wow! I use a $20 Mainstays k-cup brewer from Walmart. It works just as good as the Keurigs that cost 3-4 times as much and it's easier to clean.

I have a filter machine similar to the one above but also I have a machine that I use coffee pods in. I only drink coffee, instant during the day then either filter or pod after my evening meal.

Instant coffee is pretty bad. I've never had a latte and have never been inside a Starbuck's rip off joint. I just like plain coffee. None of that fancy stuff. The best coffee used to be at Dunkin' Donuts but they've changed something and it's not the same any more.

I have never understood how people can drink it black. It's way too bitter for me. I put 3 spoons of sugar and some half and half in the 8 ounce cup I drink every day. It kind of tastes like coffee ice cream that way but stronger. I can't drink tea without sugar either.
I've have done it for years. I want my coffee black and no sweeteners.

Hi there

@Winuser

In the evening I tend to like that well known concoction that eminates from Scotland -- in particular around the islay area. Unbeatable !!

This is my "Tipple of choice - Beer in Afternoon but my Bed time tipple " (1800 EUR a bottle !!!!!- but no typo !!) - I'm getting a slew of dosh these days on "re-working" SAP I.T projects hideously done initially by Indian offshored consultancies in Bangalore etc. _ Some of the Individual programmers are quite OK but Oh dear those consultancies are 100 % not good -- still it earns me a fortune at the moment even thoughj I reallly am getting to old for these sorts of gigs.
