I thought this might interest others besides me. Windows 12 – five things we have to see from Microsoft's rumored upgrade
It seems a terrible waste to be discarding HUGE amounts of equipment around the world just because Microsoft decreed that your computer doesn't fit their requirements, even though it can run fine on it. I think it's a very bad move, especially in these times of environmental awareness. Can you imagine the amount of waste around the world? It's not like it's a small smartphone. Personal computers are larger pieces of hardware. I'm not an environmentalist, but this is just pure waste.Windows 10 support will end in 2025. So I think is more possible to release Windows 12 then, not in 2024 as the others predict. The minimum hardware requirements will ask for at least 10th generation Intel CPUs and equivalent AMD, 4GB RAM and TPM 2.0 or newer. Hopefully there will be workarounds to install on our unsupported computers.
